I am very confused. I have GIMP 2.6.11. I have followed this: Comment by project member mirandagraphic, Aug 26, 2011 @mattnel mixbrush is part of gimp painter. look here [link] you have to install first gimp-painter in your machine ,then GPS- is this helpful?
So I have GIMP, Gimp painter and Gimp paint studio all integrated and everything else seems to work fine except I cannot find mixbrush. Somewhere else I read that mixbrush and gpen where not compatible with the newer gimp???
Mixbrush and gpen should be working with gimp 2.6.11, but your normal installation of gimp has nothing to do with your gimp-for-painters installation, they are two seperate programs. Just make sure you launch gimp-for-painters with the file 'run_gimp.wsf' in 'C:\User\...\gimp-painter-' and it should be working fine.
